Mr Peter McCombe

Peter McCombe is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon working exclusively on the Mornington Peninsula. Over his career he has consulted and operated in all areas of Orthopaedic Surgery but has now subspecialised to conditions of the hip and knee joints.

His particular interests include hip and knee replacements, both primary and revision procedures. He also treats other conditions of the hip and knee and is happy to provide second opinions in this space.

Peter has had a wide and varied career in Orthopaedics. He acted as an Examiner in Orthopaedics for 9 years and was Unit Head of the Orthopaedic Department at Frankston Hospital for many years. He continues to be a member of the Arthroplasty Society which is a subgroup of the Australian Orthopaedic Society that sets the standards of Joint Replacement in Australia.

Peter has lived and worked on the Mornington Peninsula for over 30 years now and is an active member of the local community.
